She stood, quietly graceful, and waited in the kitchen. Softly chatting to her mum and me whilst her two brothers were upstairs. Still getting ready. I like to imagine they were flinging clothes out of their wardrobes, complaining about a bad hair day, and triple checking themselves in the mirror.
They clattered down the stairs and we were off to Ilkley Moor to shoot amongst the blooming heather with their loveable spaniel Ben. Ben has boundless energy and a taste for clothing.
Back home it was clear the family has a love for animals. Not quite a menagerie just yet, but they're getting there. One dog, two cats, two chickens, a rabbit, and a guinea pig. The clutch of chickens are cared for by Mark, who, on introducing them, simply said they're called Sam n Ella. Completely deadpan. In fact I think he could have given Jack Dee a run for his money.
